Men and women entering the Citrus County Bass Challenge, set for April 24 in Dunnellon, are returning to the area for the sixth year to have some fun in the annual tournament that will benefit the Key Training Center in Lecanto.
Entry fee is $150 per two-man team. Early registration is encouraged with flight times based on order of registration.
Proceeds from the Bass Challenge benefit the Key Training Center, a non-profit organization, to ensure mentally challenged adults and their families have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of services including education, day training, vocational training, residential options, and community living support.
For more information about registration or sponsorship opportunities, contact Paula Holtsclaw at (352) 527-8228, or visit www.keytrainingcenter.org. Remember anglers will compete for cash prizes of over $13,000! Big bass award winners can reel in $1,000 cash and $500 cash, with many other anglers pocketing additional special prizes.
