Citrus Memorial Health System recently made a donation to Withlacoochee Technical Institute.
The donation was earmarked for use as financial aid to assist students working to obtain GEDs.
“When a student is able to further their education the whole community benefits,” said Citrus Memorial CEO Ryan Beaty. “That’s why we’ve made this donation to Withlacoochee Technical Institute; to give a boost to promising students who are the future workforce of Citrus County.”
WTI’s GED Prep classes provide students with the opportunity to take the GED Practice test using the approved calculator, class work on the computer, as well as individual instruction to help students successfully pass the GED Exam. Daytime and evening classes are offered at sites throughout Citrus County including Inverness, Crystal River and Homosassa locations.
