A Citrus Springs child died on Sunday after she was found on Saturday floating in the family pool.
According to the Citrus County Sheriff's, Office, dispatchers received a call before 11 a.m. on Saturday that a little girl had been found in the pool.
Eleven-month-old Nolee Wilkinson, of 7801 N. Primrose Dr., was discovered by her mother and grandmother after the family dog apparently was able to open a door leading to the pool. They immediately began CPR, and the child was transported to Citrus Memorial Hospital.
The toddler was later airlifted to All Children's Hospital ,where she died early Sunday morning.
When the Sheriff's Office investigation is complete, it will be turned over to the State Attorney's Office for review.
