Ryan Beaty, Citrus Memorial CEO, congratulates Iva Puckett on her service hours

Citrus Memorial Health System would like to commend Iva Reese Puckett for completing 20,000 hours of volunteer service.

Puckett has been a hospital volunteer for 15 years, and has served multiple roles including a three year stint as Auxiliary President. She now serves as the information desk chairperson.

Iva is a mentor and highly respected by her volunteer peers. She’s also quite diligent. Many of her hours were accumulated during hurricanes when she offered to work twelve-hour shifts, a stretch from the standard four-hour shifts most volunteers give.

“Iva is one of those people who takes her volunteer position very seriously. She is dependable and expects the same of others,” said Maria Nunez, Citrus Memorial Volunteer and Community Services Supervisor, “She has a huge heart and is helpful to other volunteers.”

Jack Condron, Auxiliary President, expressed his appreciation for Iva’s service saying, “Iva is a superstar in the organization. She’s the one we all depend on for reliable, accurate information.”

In Iva’s spare time she is an active member of Floral City United Methodist Church and enjoys crocheting and spending time with her family.
