With the recent partnership between the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Rescue, certain phone numbers for fire-related questions, requests and information have changed.
For questions relating to Fire Rescue general business, please call the Sheriff’s Office main number at (352) 726-4488.
Questions relating to volunteering as a firefighter or in any other capacity with Fire Rescue should be directed to volunteer coordinator John Beebe at (352) 527-5406. He also handles requests for Fire Rescue demonstrations, tours or other community events in need of firefighter participation.
Training questions relating to Fire Rescue should go to training coordinator Curt Clendenney at (352) 527-7612.
To request public records from Fire Rescue or for answers to insurance-related questions, please call Kim Fugate at (352) 341-2151.
Questions relating to fire prevention inspections may be directed to (352) 794-5999.
Anyone needing more information about commercial fire safety plans is asked to call Deputy Chief Jim Goodworth at (352) 341-2155.
Those who need to have a commercial fire safety plan reviewed should continue to contact fire plans examiner Laurie McLean at (352) 527-5528.
