Citrus County Animal Services will be offering half price adoptions on all dogs and cats from Nov. 8-12.
The decision coincides with National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week .
The cost to adopt a dog will be $30, and cats will be $17.50. The cost includes age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchip.
To qualify to be an adopter, you must own your own home or obtain a permission letter from your landlord; also, existing pets in the household must be appropriately licensed.
