The Citrus County Commission on Tuesday will conduct the final public Hearing for its 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).
The hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. during the commission's regular meeting in the commission chambers at the county courthouse in Inverness.
The commission has conducted an extensive public participation and involvement program throughout the 2035 Multi-modal LRTP development process, including three commission workshops, four geographic public workshops, four public consensus building workshops and three technical advisory committee meetings prior to this public hearing.
The purpose of Tuesday’s public hearing is to present the Cost Affordable Plan, as well as the 2035 Citrus County Long Range Transportation Plan Summary Report.
The Draft Summary Report that the commission will be considering for approval at the meeting is available on the county’s Web site at: www.bocc.citrus.fl.us.
