The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners will hold its first special budget workshop of the year at 9 a.m. on Tuesday for the fiscal year 2011-12 budget.
The county’s fiscal year runs from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30.
The workshop will be held in the county commission chamber at the Citrus County Courthouse. The meeting is the same day as the commission's regular, twice monthly meeting.
The regular county commission meeting will begin at 1 p.m. that afternoon. Included in the regular meeting agenda is consideration of a 10-year lease with Gulf to Lakes Association for office space for constitutional offices in Meadowcrest. The current offices in Crystal River would be moved to the larger space in Meadowcrest. The public comment portion of the agenda is at 3:30 p.m.
The agenda and backup are online and viewable at www.bocc.citrus.fl.us. Click on Agenda/Minutes at the top left under “Most Requested.”
