
The Citrus County Commission recently presented a certificate of recognition to the Citrus County Utilities Department in recognition of Florida Water Professionals Week Aug. 16 through Aug. 20.
The Operations and maintenance staff has gotten more than 60 certifications for the Florida Water and Pollution Control Operations Association, including 19 operator licenses, to provide highly qualified operations and maintenance of equipment while protecting the environment.
