Citrus County Commissioners recently congratulated Utilities Instrumentation Technician Leonard Brown of the Citrus County Utilities Division as employee of the March.
Brown's design and assembly of parts, direct purchase of the parts and training of staff, has led to the cost savings of over $150,000 to the county at the Meadowcrest Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Shown in the photo at right are, from left: Commissioner John "JJ" Kenney, Commissioner Rebecca Bays, Commissioner Joe Meek, Leonard Brown, Commissioner Winn Webb, and Commission Chairman Dennis Damato.
The commissioners were wearing "do-rags," or small caps, in support of Damato who wore one over a bandage from recent surgery.
