The Greater Dunnellon Historical Society will hold its monthly flea market on Saturday, Jan. 9, and will have tickets available for its next murder-mystery dinner.
The flea market will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Historic Depot, 12061 S. Williams St.
Inverness Farmers' Market, January 15, 8 a.m. - noon Inverness Government Center.
Fresh local fruits and vegetables, honey, coffees, roasted nuts, breads and pastries, natural soaps and lotions, flowers and plants, handmade crafts and more. Also features cooking demonstrations, entertainment and educational exhibits.
In addition to its regular weekly collection schedule, the Citrus County’s Solid Waste Division will be conducting a weekend drop-off program for residents from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16 at the county landfill.
Participants may bring up to 60 lbs or 10 gallons of materials free of charge.
The Citrus County Library System (CCLS) is hosting M*A*S*H star Gary Burghoff starting at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 at the Coastal Region Library, 8619 W. Crystal St., Crystal River.
Copies of his book, “Gary Burghoff: To M*A*S*H and Back: My Life in Poems and Songs" will be available for sale and autographing. Seating is limited to 77.
