An assisted-living facility on Dec. 13 donated $2,500 to help with senior care in Citrus County.
A check from Sunflower Springs Assisted Living Community Executive Director Theressa Foster has gone to the Citrus County Support Services Senior Programs to provide respite and daycare to those with Alzheimer’s.
The official presentation of the check was observed on Dec. 13 during the regular meeting of the county commission, and commissioners thanked Foster and the assisted-iiving facility for the generous donation.
