Hetitage Day: Yulee Sugar Mill Ruins, Homosassa

There'll be a full day of heritage, music and more from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 6 at the Yulee Sugar Mill Ruins Historic State Park and the adjacent Old Printing Museum/Museum Cafe in Homosassa.

The celebration is also part of Yulee Railroad Days.

Daylong events include:

* Chauffer's Cottage Historic Marker presentation ceremony
* Musical performances by the "Cool Corporate Cats" with special guests
* Cane grinding demonstrations
* Ranger Leroy Smith's 'Sweet and Sour' interpretation
* David Levy Yulee interpretive displays

The event is being sponsored by Florida Public Archaeology Network, Homosassa Civic Club, Gemini Graphics and Old Printing Museum/Museum Cafe. For more information, call 352-795-0208.
