The recession doesn't seem to be getting better at least for the unemployed. Foreclosures are skyrocketing which leaves many helpless especially in Citrus County where unemployment rates are one of the worst in the state. The dream of living a stress free life has become outdated and people are struggling to find ways to rebound. You know you are in for an economical fight when even the local fast-food joints are cutting back and not hiring. Even if there is a job opening it usually means one person will land the job with hundreds of others competing for the sole job placement which can be discouraging.
People aren't dumb they want a piece of the good life. They would love to be able to take their families out to a nice dinner on Fridays, rent a few movies and even buy that new LCD TV everyone's been raving about. Instead that is something we strive for with no resources to make that become a reality - at least at this time. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. They once were among us but for now it is pretty much fin for yourself.
