LECANTO - The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is now offering insurance continuing education courses at the Citrus Campus, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.
Enrollments are being accepted for courses to be held Thursday, Sept. 17.
* Ethics for the Insurance Professional will meet 9 a.m. to noon. The course reviews the concepts of ethics and applications to an insurance professional. This course satisfies the ethics requirement for insurance agents and company and independent claims adjusters. The fee is $45. The course will meet in Building L2, Room 201A.
* NAIC Ongoing LTC Training: Florida Long-Term Care Partnership Program discusses the program based upon the model of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. This course satisfies the four-hour continuing education requirement for agents selling long-term care coverage under the program. It will meet 1 to 5 p.m. and the fee is $59. The course will be held in Building 92, Room 101.
