Register now for courses at CFCC Citrus Campus

LECANTO - Continuing Education at Central Florida Community College is accepting registration for a variety of courses at the Citrus Campus, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway in Lecanto.

Courses include:

* Grantsmanship: All You Need to Know, Friday, Nov. 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. in Building L3, Room 107. The fee is $109. This is a comprehensive four-hour course covering the three major areas of grantsmanship. Learn where to locate funding, write the application and stand out from the competition.

* Resolving Conflict, part of the Citrus County Chamber Series, Friday, Nov. 20, from 1 to 5 p.m. in Building L2, Room 201A. The fee is $99 for chamber members and $129 for nonmembers. This course will teach leaders how to recognize that a conflict is escalating and minimize damage by using the most appropriate resolution.

* Pool Care for the Pool Owner, Wednesday, Dec. 2-9, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Building L4, Room 103. The fee is $39. This course is designed to provide the swimming pool owner the information and understanding necessary to maintain a pool economically and safely.

Learn about water chemistry and health issues, pool cleaning and safety. Pool economics will also be covered.
