Leroy Selmon: 'A role model for everyone'

It was a sad day for the entire Tampa Bay area as Lee Roy Selmon, the former Bucs star and he Hall of Fame football player, who also played a huge role in bring football to USF passed away Sunday after having a stoke On Friday.
On Sunday evening USF President Judy Genshaft, current AD Doug Woolard, and Head Coach Skip holtz spoke to the media about Selmon, and what he meant to the program.

After a storied NFL career, Selmon was part of the USF program since 1993 and was USF's athletic director from 2001 through 2004, before stepping down for health reasons but was still a big part of USF athletics. The Bulls wore No. 63 decals on their helmets in Saturday's game as well as on their shoes, wristbands, etc.
