Residents may drop off household hazardous waste at the Citrus County Central Landfill on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Up to 60 lbs total per visit will be accepted free of charge.
Materials should be delivered in original containers. Additional program information is posted on the County web site at www.bocc.citrus.fl.us/pubworks/swm, or residents can call Solid Waste Management at 527-7670 during working hours.
