Nineteen U.S. Army soliders were injured in Clay County today when a bus in which they were riding overturned.
The bus was one of four headed for Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. The bus that overturned was carrying soliders based in Crystal River, part of the 690th Military Police Company.
Eighteen injured soldiers were sent to area hospitals, and another soldier was sent to Shands in Gainesville. Soldiers in the other buses in the military convoy were taken back to Camp Blanding, Army officials said.
