CFCC presents student leadership awards

LECANTO - Central Florida Community College presented leadership awards to 30 area high school and college students on Nov. 19 for completing LEAPS - Leadership, Ethics and Public Service.

The leadership program is in its third year and was co-sponsored this year by the CFCC Institute for Community Advancement and the Citrus County School Board.

Award recipients completed five or more of the eight workshops conducted at the CFCC Citrus County Campus.
