The Citrus County Commission will hold its regular meeting at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the courthouse in Inverness and will consider a number of issues, including:
- A 2:10 p.m. presentation by Commission Joe Meek regarding the newly constituted Citrus County Economic Development Council funding agreement.
- A 2:30 p.m. presentation by Woolpert, Inc. regarding utilities privatization, with board discussion on the next step in the process of exploring privatizing county utility operation.
- A 3 p.m. presentation by consultant Wade-Trim regarding its study for the county on implementing parks and recreation fees.
In other business, the commission will also get a six-month review of the Fleet Audit by the county fleet and Transportation Management Director, and it will discuss and consider the temporary closing to vehicle traffic of the portion of North Calico Drive right-of-way north of West Conestoga Drive in Pine Ridge.
The proposed closure is at the request of the Pine Ridge Property Owners Association.
