A Crystal River man has been jailed by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office and faces 15 counts of possessing child pornography.
Glenn Clyde Beasley, Jr., 45, of Apt. 106, 750 N.E 10th St., was taken into custody this morning by CCSO deputies.
The investigation began in November, when Detective Dodi Pruitt, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) member, noticed a particular Internet computer address downloading and/or distributing child pornography. Her investigation led to the Beasley's Crystal River residence.
After questioning, the arrest report says, Beasley admitted to downloading pictures and video clips/movies from the Internet that depict images of children being sexually abused. The arrest report says those were downloaded onto Beasley's computer.
Beasley was charged with 15 counts of possession of child pornography. More charges may be added, the CCSO says, pending the outcome of a computer forensics analysis of the laptop.
Bond has been set at $75,000.
