FWC investigating Crystal River woman's death

Florida Fish and Wildlife investigators are looking into a Crystal River woman's death on Saturday on the Withlacoochee River.

The FWC has determined Carla D. Faul, 25, was killed just before 4:30 p.m. near the border between Citrus and and Sumter counties.

Paul reportedly fell off the pontoon boat in which she was riding, and was struck by the propeller. She died from her injuries.

Such a shame..

Such a shame..

Yes, and it's shameful that

Yes, and it's shameful that our state laws allow drunks to be boating on our rivers.

Shame on YOU

First of all, state laws do NOT allow drunks to be boating. If you are drunk while operating a boat you get a ticket and lose your license, same as if in a car. Second of all, do you KNOW the story involved here? Because I haven't seen anything that actually said there was alcohol involved. It's easy to assume, but won't you feel like crap if that wasn't the case? You should never assume. How would you feel if your child died and people just made assumptions and seemed cold and uncaring such as yourself? Shame on you.
