The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) held a hearing for Citrus County residents this morning in Inverness concerning Progress Energy’s rate hike request.
Today's public hearing at the county auditorium was only one of a series of hearings that have been held around the state.
Many angry Citrus County customers voiced their opinions, and most opposed the Progress Energy rate hike request. Members of the PSC listened attentively to public comments, as each person had a chance to comment from a podium in the audience that was equipped with a microphone.
