SECO donates $1,627 to Citrus County schools

Sumter Electric Cooperative (SECO) presented Citrus County Public Schools with a capital credits check in the amount of $1,627 this month.
SECO traditionally shares its excess margins with its customers each year around this time.
The check represents Citrus Public Schools’ share of capital credits distributed to all eligible SECO customers. (Pictured from right) SECO Key Accounts Consultant Brian Gibbs presents the check to Citrus County Schools Superintendent Sandra “Sam” Kimmel.
Sharing of excess margins through capital credits is a program unique to not-for-profit electric cooperatives.
