OCALA - Central Florida Community College Patriot Blues Jazz Band will present “Jazz at the Webber” on Sunday, Nov. 22.
Performances will be held at 3 and 7:30 p.m. at the Webber Center at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.
The 7:30 performance replaces one that had been scheduled for Saturday. The doors open to the public 30 minutes before each performance.
The CFCC Patriot Blues Big Band, combo and vocalists will perform under the direction of Sam McClung, CFCC associate professor of music. Selections for these performances include “Step Right Up” by Oliver Nelson, arranged for the Count Basie Band; “Walkin’ Shoes” by Gerry Mulligan, arranged for the Stan Kenton Band; and “Jingle Bells,” arranged by Joe Clayton for Diana Krall and featuring vocal student Ketely Jean-Baptiste.
Seating is limited. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Refreshments will be served at an additional cost. Tickets are available through the Box Office at 352-873-5810 or the Web site tickets.CF.edu.
