The road contractor currently doing Phase III of the Citrus County Road 486 widening project informed the county it will be closing one lane of traffic on North Future Avenue during normal working hours for the first part of the week starting Monday, June 27.
The one lane traffic during the day will be controlled by a flagman, and traffic will be reopened to two-way traffic each evening after work.
The closure is needed to construct the new tie-in between North Future and the new highway alignment. D.A.B., the contractor, said it anticipates three days will be required to complete the work.
