The Citrus County Sheriff's Office today announced a second arrest involving a marijuana-growing operation in Pine Ridge.
Search warrants were executed on Nov. 4 on four homes in the Beverly Hills development.
The first arrest in that operation, known as "Not in my Backyard," was Gordon Charles Collins, 36, of 4647 W. Bonanza Drive in Beverly Hills.
Collins' charges include marijuana trafficking, conspiracy, grand theft and growing marijuana. His bond was set at $220,500.
Arrested on Tuesday was Kevin Robert Shaw, 36, of 4537 W. Tomahawk Drive, in Beverly Hiils.
Shaw has been charged with marijuana trafficking, conspiracy, growing it, selling it and driving while his license was suspended. His bond was set at $211,000.
The Sheriff's Office said today that more arrests are expected in connection with the drug trafficking case.
