LECANTO - Central Florida Community College will partner with the Citrus County Health Department for a H1N1 Vaccine clinic on Tuesday, Dec. 1, and Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Citrus Campus, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.

CFCC students and staff will be able to receive vaccinations from 4 to 6 p.m. each day.

Vaccines will be available to the public from 6 to 8 p.m. For efficient service, individuals whose last names begin with A through E should arrive from 6 to 6:30 p.m.; F through K, 6:30 to7 p.m.; L through Q, 7 to 7:30 p.m.; and R through Z, 7:30 to 8 p.m. The clinic will be held in the Citrus Learning and Conference Center, Room 101B.

There is no fee for the vaccine, which is recommended for individuals in high-risk groups:

  • pregnant women
  • people who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age
  • health care and emergency medical personnel
  • anyone from 6 months through 24 years of age
  • anyone from 25 through 64 years of age with certain chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system.
