A woman reported to Citrus County Sheriff's Office dispatchers just after 2 p.m. today that after riding from Ocala to Citrus County with a known suspect, she was robbed at gunpoint by him of cash in Crystal River.
The white male, said to be in his early to mid-30s, was driving a maroon-colored Pontiac Grand Prix.
No shots were fired during the robbery, and the woman suffered only minor injuries.
Deputies later recovered the abandoned vehicle, which had been reported as stolen out of W. Virginia. They believed the suspect might be inside a nearby residence at 6589 W. Gannet Place.
The CCSO SWAT team was dispatched as backup and made entry into the residence.
Scott Lewis Buckner, 33, address unknown, was taken into custody to be interviewed and processed.
Charges are pending, including robbery with a firearm.
